By buying from The Bower you're helping us to meet our goals of diverting hardwaste from landfill and educating the community on sustainable practice - But you could do more.

If you're interested in sustainable practice, repair, reuse, upcycling, tinkering, cataloging, recycling, composting, or sustainable living we could use your help.

The library is always on the lookout for volunteers to keep the catalogue in order, brainstorm and implement new community events and educational programs. Simply volunteering to share your enthusiasm or sustainable passion helps us get others excited and involved and practice reuse and repair culture.

If you're time poor and cash rich, you can click on the button to your left to donate online, or you'll find a donation box on the counter in store next time you visit.

The Bower is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt charitable organisation and Co-Operative, endorsed as a deductible gift recipient and holds a charitable fundraising authority. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

All funds raised from this process cover the cost of this service, as well as our many educational initiatives aimed at informing the community about waste reduction and sustainable practice.
