DIY Workshops

The Bower has a long history of offering hands on workshops - Starting at the very beginning with Strawbale building demonstrations and working bees throughout contsruction of our Marrickville premises.

Since then we've had many talented staff pass through our ranks, offering tutorials in timber finishing, basic timber repairs, and bike maintenance. More recently Claire and Maaike have joined the team, bringing with them plenty of know-how and buckets of can-do in the areas of Seed- saving, gardening and upholstery.

This year has seen bike repair workshops, seed saver meetings and an upholstery class - and it's not over yet!

Workshops are subject to demand, and as such usually held on weekends, however we're always open to suggestions.
